The creator of this painting was born in Parkes which is home to the Annual Elvis Festival where people from all over the world congregate to pay homage to the King of Rock n Roll. Naybrrr now living and working in Melbourne chose to depict Elvis in a softer pose in keeping with the tender melody in the music and lyrics behind him.
