In a big moment for the company, Fantastic Framing’s owner Avi Efrat was featured on the large national platform of ABC during ‘The past year’s economic story and preview of the 2021 Federal Budget’. Avi and Fantastic Framing’s story was included on the May 11 edition of the ABC’s evening radio news program ‘PM’.
The focus of the program primarily centred on the state of countless Australian industries, the success of certain businesses and the potential impacts of further statewide lockdowns.
The ABC specifically acknowledged the growing success of Fantastic Framing, citing the needs of desires of many to add high quality framed artwork to their homes since the onset of the pandemic. Numerous soundbites and quotes from Avi were included.
Avi’s comments surrounded both the growing success of our mobile framing business and the “broad economic damage” that further lockdowns may have nationwide.
“This is a threat,” he told the ABC “when you have a lockdown and the shops are closed, retail is dropping.”
The PM program also highlighted many other industries suffering as a result of numerous restrictions, illustrating numerous industries (such as tourism) that have taken a large hit over the past year. The mental health effects of lockdowns were also explored. Fantastic Framing is hopeful that operations can return to normal once again and that we can continue to deliver high quality frames and artwork to the people, Australia-wide.
